For over three decades, the Samoan Christian Church of Mount Druitt has been a home away from home — and a source of real, practical help — for the people of Western Sydney.
The Samoan Christian Church of Mount Druitt Inc. was established in 1989 by families who wanted a place to worship together and to care for one another in a growing, diverse community. What began as a congregation quickly became a lifeline for local teenagers and households doing it tough.
Today we remain a small, volunteer-driven charity. We are proudly a Baptist, faith-based organisation and a registered Australian charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Every dollar and every hour goes directly into caring for the people at our door.
We believe that faith is best expressed through action: feeding the hungry, comforting the anxious, and walking alongside young people who simply need someone in their corner.
To support our community by feeding, counselling and providing vital services to teenagers who, because of financial or family-related difficulties, need care, stability and hope.
A Mount Druitt where no young person goes hungry, feels alone, or faces hardship without a caring community ready to help them thrive.
These simple, faith-rooted values shape every meal we serve and every conversation we have.
We meet people where they are, with warmth and without judgement.
We are family. Everyone has a place at our table, whatever their story.
We put our beliefs to work through practical, everyday service.
As a registered charity, we are accountable, transparent and trustworthy.
We are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), the national regulator of charities. This means we meet ongoing standards of governance, transparency and public accountability, and report annually on our activities.
You can verify our registration and read our public profile on the ACNC Charity Register at any time.
